We are a “missions minded” church, committed to giving more than 10% of our church income to missions. Our sanctuary is surrounded by the flags of the foreign missionaries we support: India, Chile, Ghana, Egypt, the Philippines, Egypt, Romania, the Maldives & Guyana.
We believe that we can hasten the return of Christ by helping to reach the world with the gospel “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come”. Matt. 24:14 (I’ll send you a picture of the flags in the sanctuary)
We are involved in local missions through our support of “men with a vision” which is a ministry specifically geared to reach those in prison, helping their families while they are there, and assisting them as they transition from prison to regular life.
We also have a very effective ministry called “Helping Hands” which reaches out to the elderly and disabled, helping them with minor home repairs, in 2014 we completed 7 different projects ranging from painting a house, to building steps from a porch, to helping “set up” a house after an elderly couple had moved.
